- General cautions

   1) The patients under the effect of the anesthesia should postpone the food ingestion until the sensitivity of lips, cheeks and tongue is recovered.

   2) In pediatric, elderly and patients with nutrition deficiencies, the dose must be decreased.

   3) Disorders in atrioventricular conduction without a permanent electrosystolic treatment.

   4) Use extreme caution in patients with liver diseases due to metabolism by the liver of the amide-type anesthetics.

   5) To minimize risk of intravascular injection aspiration is recommended before injection.

   6) When using any type of local anesthetic oxygen equipment and resuscitation drugs should be available for immediate use.
